This Blog is for the purpose of keeping family, friends and prayer warriors informed on the status of our son Luke. It is a journal of the Searles family journey after the drowning accident of their 17 month old son Luke, who drowned in their back yard pool on August 30, 2004. He was dead for at least 40 minutes before God brought him back to life. Please continue to join with us in prayer for the complete restoration of his brain and body.

Still hoping and believing for the completion of Luke's complete healing 6 years later
Praying with you for Luke's COMPLETE healing. Sue, may God continue to give you the grace you need to walk this path... a path that I can not imagine, a path that is so very difficult, discouraging at times.... may He pour HIS grace on you ... HOLD you up and give you His strength.
I can remember six years ago coming to the blog every day, several times a day and crying as I read.... praying He would LIVE. PRAYING for you and Gordy.
I would sign all of our names... I would tell my friends to pray....
I am still here.... still praying.
I love you...
family in Georgia, Billy, Teena, Michael (NOW Amber), Mandi, Dakota, Alyssa, Wyatt & Wesley.
Wow, i truly admire your faith after all these years. I'm going through a similar thing also with a son called Luke in South Africa. Its only been 3 months but we too are praying for 100% restoration or that my Luke goes to Heaven to be with Jesus, where he will be whole and happy. Tonight, I will pray for your Luke too :-) God Bless. Amanda
