This Blog is for the purpose of keeping family, friends and prayer warriors informed on the status of our son Luke. It is a journal of the Searles family journey after the drowning accident of their 17 month old son Luke, who drowned in their back yard pool on August 30, 2004. He was dead for at least 40 minutes before God brought him back to life. Please continue to join with us in prayer for the complete restoration of his brain and body.

What a beautiful family if I don't say so myself! Did Amy take the picture?
You have a beautiful family! Your blog is one of several that have inspired me over the past because of your faith in God and the dedication you show to your family and especially to Luke! Your love and dedication is evident in the way you care for him. Sometimes I forget to focus on the blessings I have in my life but, when I read of your struggles and your faith in helping you deal with those struggles with God as your focus - I am reminded that God is constant and God is faithful and will answer our prayers in His time. Thank you so much for sharing your family and for sharing your faith. I hope that you and your family have a wonderful new year and I pray that 2007 will be a year of healing and recovery for Luke.
