This Blog is for the purpose of keeping family, friends and prayer warriors informed on the status of our son Luke. It is a journal of the Searles family journey after the drowning accident of their 17 month old son Luke, who drowned in their back yard pool on August 30, 2004. He was dead for at least 40 minutes before God brought him back to life. Please continue to join with us in prayer for the complete restoration of his brain and body.

Daniel's new room
Here is a picture of Daniel in his new room. Thank you to everyone that played a part in making this happen, it turned out great!!!
Daniel, I am thrilled about your new room. I know you are too! Our son lives at college and we miss him so. I think it is so wise for you to live at home. I guess we all live and learn! I know you are a great encouragement to your family. I still think of the song you wrote for Luke. My son Michael loves to play the guitar. He likes Third Day, Newsboys, David Crowder, etc. He is praying for you. I think it is awesome that you gave your room for Luke. You all are a great testimony of a godly family. Please know others care and are praying for you! your GA friends, Billy, Teena, Michael, Mandi, Dakota, Alyssa, Wyatt & Wesley
I should clarify one thing. Daniel lives with a host family in Centralia near school during the week and is able to come home on the weekends and enjoy his new room.
