This Blog is for the purpose of keeping family, friends and prayer warriors informed on the status of our son Luke. It is a journal of the Searles family journey after the drowning accident of their 17 month old son Luke, who drowned in their back yard pool on August 30, 2004. He was dead for at least 40 minutes before God brought him back to life. Please continue to join with us in prayer for the complete restoration of his brain and body.

We are so excited for you! We will continue to pray for God to use this surgery as a stepping stone to Luke's complete recovery!
I was reading yesterday and knew this Psalm was for you..
Psalm 20 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high (and defend you.) Send you help from the sanctuary and support, refresh, and strengthen you from Zion; Remember all your offerings and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah. May He grant you according to your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans. We will [shout in] triumph at your salvation and victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in and boast of horses, but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God. They are bowed down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright. O Lord, give victory; let the King answer us when we call.
Rejoicing with you at how well Luke is doing!! Praying for a smooth and speedy transition HOME! Great is our God!
Just checking in to see if there is an update on Luke. Thinking about you and praying. Hope you are getting home and settled and doing great! we love you~ your Georgia friends, Billy, Teena, Michael, Mandi, Dakota, Alyssa, Wyatt & Wesley
