I'm not asking for your prayers today, just your prayer requests

Thank you for your prayers! The weekend went far beyond all my hopes and prayers. God moved in so many lives and the testimonies from the weekend are amazing to hear.

Luke is doing good once again, along with the rest of the children. He ended up having one more rough night and then began to make a complete turn around for the better. The kids go to the YMCA every Tuesday and Thursday, where they do a wonderful Homeschool PE program and participate in a choir. Today Luke went with Amy and Natalie, since I had a lunch date with some mom's of handicapped children. He seems to enjoy his time watching everyone play racquetball and walking/running around the track with Mom pushing him. I took him and Lily to watch the children perform for their choir today, they sang to the YMCA board, it was so amazing to see and hear Luke respond by "singing" along with the children. I had to shush him a bit because he thought he would be louder than those singing. He was such a smiley little guy for the rest of the day, he knew he had performed with the group for the first time.

How's all my friends out there is blogland? So many of you have become good friends, though we've never met. Please comment and let me know how you are or if you need any prayer today, instead of asking for you to pray for our family this time, I thought we could pray for yours.

Be blessed today and I look forward to hearing from you.

Love in Christ,
Luke's Mommy Suzi

I am so glad you and your family are doing better!
As for prayer requests....I would like to be pain free for a day. That would be great!
Take care, Cindy.

Praising God that everyone is better! That is great about Luke "singing" PTL....

As for prayer requests.... you know the one I have shared with you~ please continue to pray as it has really intensified this past few months. God continues to give us grace as we walk this road.

Also, for my mom. She is still in the hospital. She has terminal lung cancer and several other issues. She has never made a profession of faith.

thank you~
YOU are a great friend,
YOUR GA friends,
Teena

I'm so glad to hear Luke is doing well and that everyone in your family is feeling healthy. And praise the Lord for such a great weekend!
I'm still praying for you all (even though you didn't ask this time!)...but while you're asking for prayer requests, I do have a couple:
1. I struggle with really bad headaches, that seem to come several times a week recently. Could you pray for healing? (I know this may seem selfish/stupid in the grand scheme of things, especially considering what other people are dealing with, but the headaches can be really incapacitating...)
2. Could you pray for Steven Curtis Chapman's family? His youngest daughter Maria (5) was run over and killed by his teenage son on Wed. I can't even imagine what they are going through right now (http://www.stevencurtischapman.com and http://chapmanchannel.typepad.com/inmemoryofmaria/)
Thanks so much for asking for our prayer requests, and God bless!

Glad to check in and find good news! As for myself, I am struggling with injured ankles. For the past seven months I've sought a diagnosis. So I'm praying to get diagnosed and healed. I'm having a cortisone shot on Wednesday, maybe that will be my miracle. Thank you for your prayers!

Hi Suzi,
I found Luke's blog way back when he was first injured and you started the blog. At the time I had two young boys myself (who are 8 and 6 now). I've cried and prayed for Luke, you and Gordy many times, I've admired your perseverence to get Luke the care he needs, and of course I've admired your faith that Luke will be healed.

Thanks for your prayers!
Kris

Thank you so much for praying for me...I haven't had any headaches so far this week! (my last one was a minor one on Sat. morning).
