This Blog is for the purpose of keeping family, friends and prayer warriors informed on the status of our son Luke. It is a journal of the Searles family journey after the drowning accident of their 17 month old son Luke, who drowned in their back yard pool on August 30, 2004. He was dead for at least 40 minutes before God brought him back to life. Please continue to join with us in prayer for the complete restoration of his brain and body.

Happy Valentine's Day
Roses are Red
Violets are Blue Jesus Loves You And The Searles Do Too!
What a great family picture! I love the reds. On another topic, my mom sent me a box yesterday and just happened to send me a copy of the book "The Shack" right after you had talked about it, without her even knowing I wanted it. I'm excited to read it.
I love your pic. I am praying Luke is better today and everyone is feeling great. Praying for you. I know that your heart wants that 5 yr old boy that you talk about. I think that is normal. I think it is good for you to share the good, bad & ugly. We lift you up when need be and rejoice with you, and weep with you.
I have heard lots of controversy about that book. :( My friend is reading it....
I think that verse is Titus 2:11-12 Not by works of righteousness....
