A beautiful wedding

Well, we now have a new niece in our family. Our nephew Joseph was married this afternoon to Gina. Sue and I took a brief respite from the hospital to go and join in the celebration while my sister and husband watched Luke. It was a beautiful wedding and we rejoice with Joseph and Gina. I was going to post a picture, unfortunately, my camera isnt recognized by the PC here at the hospital.

We are still waiting to see if they are going to be able to remove the breathing tube. I will send an update later this evening.

Prayers for Luke will be going up from Eastern PA. If I understand this correctly, my sister knows the father where she works. Will check back for updates - hoping for the best for little Luke, and strength for the family to get through this. We have a daughter 15, son 12 and daughter 2. Have had a few scares over the years but nothing like this...but I think we can imagine how you must feel. God Bless.

Thousands ARE praying. Alone on the KCMS website there are FOUR prayer requests for Luke. I know that God has his healing hand on Luke and will continue to improve his health.
I'm amazed at all the people that continue to pray for Luke. Thanks so much! :-)

Gordy and Sue were so pleased that you could go and share in the joy that was Joseph and Gina's wedding. I opened two fortuned cookies this evening. One said, "You will be called up to help a friend in trouble" and the second said "You have much to be thankful for". Yes! As always, our prayers are with Luke and the entire family. We are so thankful they are our family and to see the tremendous outpouring of love and support from around the world. Love, Pam and Hal Mofjeld

Dear Gordon and family,
You have been so amazing through all of this! Thank you so much for allowing us to share in Luke’s progress. I have been glued to this blog since you first created it. I get so caught up reading all the wonderful messages, until now I have run out of time to post my own. The love & support your family is receiving from all corners of the world is truly amazing. My family and I are praying for Luke’s full recovery and for strength and comfort for your entire family. We know how hard it can be to have a precious little baby in the hospital. When my niece was 7 months old (she is now 6), she spent over 20 days at Children’s Hospital in Seattle. I know the waiting can be so difficult, full of highs and lows, but I also know you can’t imagine being anywhere else. We too had a family wedding that occurred during that same time. I am so happy you were able to get away and celebrate this wonderful occasion with your nephew and his new bride. I am sure it was just what all of you needed! Congratulations Joseph and Gina!
Hang in there Dad, Mom, Daniel, Amy, Natalie, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and most of all Luke, we are all pulling for you!
Laureen (Dad’s coworker)

Joseph's and Snezhi's wedding was beautiful. I am so glad most of all to see that my sister Sue and Gordy were able to make it to their wedding and to be able to see them start their life together.

Love,
