Hi there, my daughter, Minnie May and I were at Marybridge today for some diagnostic testing for her kidneys. It was a very stressful test but she made a point that we needed to pray for "Our little Luke" and we prayed at the hospital, we did not try to seek you out because we know you are weary but I wanted you to know what an impact you have made on us. God has blessed so many with Luke and we continue to pray for strength and peace each hour of the day. We prayed by the fountain and prayed for a rush of healing water to surround our baby Luke. Again, thanks.

Thank you for the update and pictures. We are praying for Baby Luke. Please know we think of him all through the day. My oldest daughter said as she saw me on the computer "how is Baby Luke?" We all feel connected to all of you. May God give you strength and peace... may HE wrap His arms around you now. OH, precious Heavenly Father, we all ask in Your Son's name... please show us Your miracles.... work in Luke LORD.... PLEASE DEAR LORD... allow him to cough and respond... we love YOU Lord! MAY the God give you both strength, & peace.

Oh Sue..I just laid my hand on the computer screen, on the picture of you and Luke, and prayed over you. As one mother's heart reaching out to another's...I send my love and prayers and am believing with you for complete restoration to GODS GLORY!

Still fighting for you Luke! After reading the last entry about Sue holding her little boy all night and weeping to think of it, I am making it a point that whenever I hold or touch my 17 month old son Aidan, that God knows my deep love for him is intercession for your little boy. Don't give up!

Our Victory in Christ
Romans 8:26-30
26 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;
27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

A scripture that has been in my heart the last few days as I have been praying for Luke.

Bless you, Jenni Burns

The photos of Luke and his family are so precious. If they tug on my heart, just think how much more on our Father's heart!

Gordy & Sue,
I wondered if you could post a current address where people could send cards or gift cards to your family. I know there are friends and family who would love to do something, but feel so helpless. We can all pray and would love to help in other ways that we can.

Sue, Gordy and Luke,
How precious is this picture! Last night as I wept over what was happening and what we believe God is wanting to happen, I was moved to hold my children a little longer and a little tighter than usual. God is with you and He will not stop hearing our prayers. I can't access my computer at school yet so I have printed a couple of the pictures and have taped them to the edges of my monitor as a remind to me that every time I look up at my computer, your precious faces are there and I speak your names and needs to our Heavenly Father. Sue, may God give you extra rest today and tonight as you so faithfully minister to little Luke. Still praying and believing with you.

Gordy & Sue,

We are still fasting and praying with you and for you. God has raised up a mighty army to pray for Luke and your family! Although we are praying continuously, we especially make it a point to join with what must be hundreds of others at the top of every hour, interceding for Luke. Even Russell is asking me "Is it time? Is it getting close to time?" He too wants to make sure we don't miss the time to join with others praying for Luke. We serve an AWESOME, WONDERFUL, MIGHTY, MERCIFUL, GRACIOUS and LOVING GOD.

Much love,

Jeri

That's what this is all about. A boy with his mother (family). Thanks for the picture. Just so you know - there are people who don't stop in here, or at my blog, that know about Luke and talk about him. I mentioned Luke to someone and he had heard about Luke from a friend. If people are like me: they are thinking more about friends and family and calling/emailing/talking more.

You're looking better Luke. Just think soon you can eat turnips (eeeeew!), broccoli (eeeeew!), and brussel sprouts (eeeeew!). You will also eat cookies (yay!), icecream (yay!), and cake (yay!).

Take care Luke.

We are still praying and fasting with all of you! It's amazing to feel so connected to so many people for this precious little boy.

Gordy and Sue, thank you for keeping us updated and thank you for sharing this picture of Sue with Luke. I am praying for strength for you both. I pray that the Lord continues to hold you up. Daniel, Amy, Natalie, Isaiah, and Ezekiel, I am praying for you too. I am giving praise that you have such a wonderful close family that will help you all through the rough times, and praise with you through the good! Hang in there! I know the Lord is still working miracles with Luke! You all have an amazing bond. I really enjoyed watching you all at church this weekend, and at the wedding and how you interact. I enjoyed watching Ezekiel and Isaiah running around and laughing. I know it brings joy to God's heart as well. I am standing firm that Luke will be there with all his brothers and sisters again!

God Bless you all! Much love, Teresa.

I just received this on my prayer chain. I shared this with my husband and as we look at little Luke laying in his mama's arms we are filled with the love of jesus for this little guy. we will lift him up in prayer and continue to do so. May God hold your son in his loving arms and heal his little precious body. May he strengthen both of you for this journey. Through our father all things are possible. It is in his hands and his will. May God Bless you, jeff and tracy, Indiana

Gordy and Sue and Kids,

I need to go to bed, but it pains me to be away from here. I come every 1/2 hour when I am home from work. I hold my breath until the site comes on screen. I come to share with you and all the 1,000's who are praying for our little Luke. Praise God for His greatness and wisdom. He is so very awesome and I thank Him every moment for bringing me into your lives. Lord God, let us all rest this night in you. We know you will take care of all our needs, whatever they may be, Lord. Cover this wonderful family with your hand of peace and rest. Thank you Jesus for your merciful grace and almighty love...Sue I love seeing you holding little Luke. I am reminded when my four children were babies and I could hold them tight to my breast and feel their hearts beat next to mine. There is nothing so great as a mother's touch, except the touch of our Lord. And we all know he is touching Luke, you and your family and all of us. The love which shines from your face is so comforting. Thank you for that.

Loving and Praying..,

Grandma Barbara

Luke...You look so comfy in Mommy's arms. You are safe there little boy, just sleep and she will care for you. Your Mommy, Daddy and brothers and sisters love you so much, I love you so much, all these wonderful people here who are praying for you love you so much and Jesus loves you even more. Night, Night...Sleep Tight...Happy Dreams and we will see you in the morning...

Gordy and Sue,

I want to share something I read today on a blog called Buried Tresure. I posted a link to your blog in the comments and Carmon replied that their family will be praying for Luke. They have 9 kids :)

It is about perspective. You can go there and read it, its a little long to post here but it goes along with the scripture that my wife Jenni posted above.

The praise team I lead at church practiced tonight and we prayed together for Luke both through song and our closing prayer circle. In prayer and meditation we played and sang many of our favorites: AwesomeGod, Sanctuary, Breathe (a gift from Gordon), TheHeartOfWorship, LeadMeLord, LordILiftYourNameOnHigh, Hungry, LiftUpYourHearts, ComeNowIsTheTimeToWorship, ThyWord, and several others. There are some very powerful lyrics throughout these songs that brought us near tears and joy. We prayed and will all continue to pray for Luke's fluids to be managed through some better coughing, for the pneumonia to stay away, and for Luke's lung to refill.

God, please heal this young boy if it's your will. Amen.

Dear Gordy & Sue, Thanks for all the updates and pictures. Each time I dial on to this site I feel as if I am joining a prayer meeting that is already in session. As I read, I join my prayer and faith with everyone else and expect our Mighty God to move His hand on Luke's behalf! Praise His Wonderful Name!

As I was doing my devotions this morning (Wednesday), one of the scriptures was out of Isaiah and just wanted to share it with you.

Isaiah 26:3-4

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.

So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock.

Dear Jesus, today we thank you for your word that reminds us that you are totally in control and we just need to look to you. Right now Father, once again we place little Luke 100% in Your hands and ask you Father for your perfect will to be done in his life today. WE trust totally in You. Thank you Jesus for your peace that passes all our understanding. Amen

WE love you all and continue to stand with you in spirit and much prayer!

Dear Gordy, Sue and family,
Woke up with Luke and your precious family on our hearts this morning. We are "bombarding" Heaven for you all! While reading in Psalms this morning we read Psalm 77:10-14....was very encouraging to us and we know for you, also. We love you so very much....you will be getting some vegetable soup today! May you sense God's presence and love in a very "special" way this morning. Auntie and Uncle Hugs for each of you!

Gordy the system seems to be working again. If you have large posts as drafts try a small test post like at my blog. This should make things work. I am at my volunteer job so I can't email you. Wed 12:11 pm.

Hi ya Luke, You got some more teddies today. I hope you are fine.
