This Blog is for the purpose of keeping family, friends and prayer warriors informed on the status of our son Luke. It is a journal of the Searles family journey after the drowning accident of their 17 month old son Luke, who drowned in their back yard pool on August 30, 2004. He was dead for at least 40 minutes before God brought him back to life. Please continue to join with us in prayer for the complete restoration of his brain and body.

You can do it Luke. Hang in there Buddy. And to the family: I'm praying for you all as well. God's hand is upon your son and brother. Don't worry because God will heal him. I believe it with all my heart.
I just received a wonderful quote from friends who are praying for Luke and I wanted to share it with you:
"There is nothing, no circumstance, no trouble, no testing that can ever touch me until, first of all, it has come past God and right through Christ to me. If it has come that far, it has come with a great purpose."
I know that this is not exactly Scriptural, but since I am a minister and can't physically be where Luke is, I took the liberty, in faith, to use Luke's picture on my screen as a point of contact, and anointed his picture with oil as if I were there. I will continue to pray for Luke, and for you, his parents and family.
Hug that Teddy Luke. You have lots of things to look forward to. Luke's Dad - I found your blog and linked to you. I hope others will pop in and offer you support. Best Wishes and prayers. - firemind.
I see the face of God in Luke and pray God gives you all the strength you need to get through this difficult time and the times ahead as Luke recuperates. My Southern Nevada Emmaus prayer group will keep you all lifted in prayer. Thank the Lord for the quick actions of all friends, family, emergency personnel! God Bless You All!!
We are praying for Luke. After the phone call Monday night, as we prayed, I imagined Jesus, like Elisha, stretching himself mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands, breathing life into Luke's little body and soul. We continue to be in prayer for Luke and will be checking the site often to keep tabs on his progress. It is not necessary to wish you God's best -- because he does all things well and exceeding above what we can think or ask. Love, from your cuz' on the pennisula.
Thank you so much for putting the pictures of Luke on the blog! I love so much seeing him, even with all the tubes. He is being showed off to my co-workers.
Love you all so very much!
Lori
PS Sue, I love you and you are a rock! Gordy you're the best, and thank you for being a part of our family!
Jehovah Yahu, I am able. Father we know you are able. We ask for your divine touch on Luke, and also Father you know what the father is going through as you are always looking over us. Give him strength, comfort and let him know you are there with him. Lord we just ask for miraculous signs and wonders in this as Luke starts recovering and coughing, focusing, and no fever. We love you Lord and we know how much You love us and this little one. Jehovah Jireh our provider please provide healing as Jehovah Rapha. In Jesus most precious name.

Hang in there, Dad. I expect you'll crash pretty soon and it's OK.
He looks so good. Oh his color is sooooo good. He's a strong Boy. He's a fighter. I have so much Hope.
