This Blog is for the purpose of keeping family, friends and prayer warriors informed on the status of our son Luke. It is a journal of the Searles family journey after the drowning accident of their 17 month old son Luke, who drowned in their back yard pool on August 30, 2004. He was dead for at least 40 minutes before God brought him back to life. Please continue to join with us in prayer for the complete restoration of his brain and body.

A pic of Luke and Teddy and another of Luke with Dad. I let you figure out which one is Teddy and which is Dad.
Gordon - Got the message while in LaGrange, Georgia. Thinking of you & your family. It's wonderful to hear positive news about Luke's healing process! I'm forwarding this to my (rather large) family who will definitely pray for Luke. My brother wrote a song that will make you cry and warm you (written just prior to our own family loss) Go to www.daddyslistening.com and play the "Daddy's Listening" song. Please add Jim & I to the list of well wishes & positive thoughts coming your way from across the globe! Kelly (Sammamish, WA)
Dear Gordy, Sue and Family, We are sooooo encouraged by the many answers to prayer. We continue to pray "diligently" and we know that God will surely reward us by seeing Luke's beautiful smile again soon. We love you all very much and keep you in our prayers continually.....you are a "special" family. Praying for Grandma and Grandpa Miller also. Uncle 'n Auntie Blanford
