I just read of Luke's situation now, I'll pray for all of you, that God holds you close.

Gordy, Sue and family:
What a wonderful picture! We are so amazed at all that God is doing in this time. You are constantly in our prayers and we are trusting God with you that a complete recovery will be made. May His grace be sufficient for you and may His everlasting arms be underneath you. He will carry you through every moment of every day. We love you and are looking forward to seeing our little Luke back running around with the other kids. God bless you tonight!

Thank you, Gordy, for being so faithful to keep us up to date - Luke is all any of us are able to think about these days, and as you say, it is so hard to wait for even a little bit of news. This picture speaks volumes to us about the love of a wonderful family. We are praying for you still and feel certain that baby Luke is in the very best hands. The God of mercy and compassion bless you all and hang in there, Searles Family! We send love and hugs.

PS. 57:1 & 7
"Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge until these calamities be overpast."

"My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise."

Love & Blessings,
Joe & Rena

Gordon - I shared your site with both my children tonight and they are going to take the prayer request to school tomorrow. My daughter immediately wanted to make Luke something, so she is working on that right now.

We continue to pray for Luke and your family. You are in my thoughts constantly. I check your website several times a day for an update. Thank you for being so faithful to update us.

I am eternally grateful for what your Uncle Jim has done. Hearing the screams and being so helpless was a very deep pain. I love Luke so very much as I do all the other children and am very grateful and happy the Lord has given him back to us. We were so glad to meet your Uncle and be able to thank him and give him a hug at the hospital. Thanks seems so small compared to how much my heart is grateful.

Go Luke! Use the force! I'm so happy. Gordy, you are blessed, for sure. Hang in there and stay the course. Thoughts and prayers keep rolling towards your family. Time-time-time...heal-heal-heal!

Gordie & Family: Thank you so much for sharing your life with us though this website. You are all such an encouragement to us. In these last days we will ALL be tried and tested and I pray we will withstand all the darts the enemy attacks us with. Your faith has been incredible and I will remember this forever and remember what an awesome God we serve.

It is quite an ordeal when a loved one is in the hospital. I can only imagine how much more intense that is when the loved one is a small child like Luke. Thank you for creating the blog and continuing to keep it updated. It is encouraging to read of the progress Luke is making. We are praying for Luke's full and speedy recovery and have asked others to do the same.
