Luke is running a fever

Luke is running a fever this morning and the doctors think he has an infection. They are running tests to determine where the infection is located. Please pray that God will heal Luke of this infection and that we will be able to continue preparing to take Luke home.

Dear Gordy & Sue & family,
Thank you so much for the long update. It has answered lots of questions and binds us more together.
Upon reading of your older girls... I cried. Upon reading of your boys 5 & 3... I smiled and cried some more... upon reading about Daniel I again cried... as we have one in college and pray for him daily. We are praying for Luke so much. We will pray for the infection and for his home coming!! The strength your family shows is a testimony to us all and I thank you for allowing us to share this journey with all of you.
I truly believe for years and years you will hear about the impact you have had on others! I think about Sue ... being there for Luke... as a mother bear... I am praying for her strength and for her emotionally as I know she is pulled in so many directions. I think it is awesome the support you have for your family. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers DAILY....

Dear Father,

We love You so much and we thank You for all that You have done. What an AWESOME God You are and we are so glad we belong to You. God, we just lift up lil' Luke to You. He has this little fever and he needs Your loving and mighty healing hand to touch his little body and make him better. Father, we know that nothing is too great for You and You said that we could come to You for all of our needs. So, here we are Father, asking over and over again, continue to meet the needs of the Searles Family. Continue to bring about Your will in Luke's little life and help us all to be patient as we wait on You Lord, our Sustainer and our Help.

My Help, all of my Help cometh from the Lord.

I'll lift up my eyes, I'll run to the hills, He is my strength. All of my Help cometh from the Lord!

Look up lil' Luke, Jesus is there and He will help you!

We love you with the Sweet Love of Jesus,

Shawn, Con-, John, Rebekah, Matthew and Naomi Reeder

I was glad to read the update you wrote and to hear about the whole family. Isnt it a wonderful miracle?
The healing of Luke. He's opening his eyes and showing response. I believe every day will show more and more progress. The Lord is marvelous. He has made our bodies to heal and he will bless us with healing that
he has paid for for us all.
I will be praying for God to heal the infection. Fever
means his body is working on it. I know that the Lord will continue to be with you all and that you will find your nurses and that little Luke will be home soon. Love Bobbi

Thanks for the update, although I hardly feel entiltled to be such a part of your family since I don't know you.
I continue to pray for Luke's healing, may he be healed of this infection and restored. I pray also for your strength, and for your children, Daniel as he begins a new journey and the others as they go through these difficult times with such grace.

Father God, I am so thankful for my family and that you have a plan for Luke. I believe that You are our healer when we are sick, and that You do care for the little children. So, what I am asking now is that You would please continue heal Luke and help him to be our healthy little Lukers again! Thank you for hearing all of our prayers. Auntie Lori.

PS. I love you all and miss you, and wish that I could be there 24/7!! I will see you again this weekend.

We are praying many times a day for Luke and your family. Our son Joseph was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer when he was 5 months old. He had 42 weeks of chemo and two weeks of focused radiation. We have had the full gamut of hospital experiences including respiratory arrest. Only our Sovereign Lord carried us through those valleys. We were covered in prayer by people all over the world many of whom we will never know. Joseph will be 5 the day after Christmas and is doing well. We give all glory to Jesus for his healing. Be encouraged! God has a perfect plan for little Luke. God is carrying you all!
Thank you for the daily updates.
