More resting and waiting

Luke is resting nicely and we are just waiting for the surgery this afternoon. I dont know exactly what time it will be, just sometime this afternoon. Please pray that God would guide the hand of the surgeon and that the surgery would be successful. Also, pray that God would restore Luke's ability to swallow and cough better so he can maintain his own airway.

I will blog a little more this afternoon when we know more about the surgery. The surgery takes about an hour and a half.

The Lord is so good to us and His love is so deep. Just like I enjoy just touching Luke and being in his sleeping presence. The Lord just wants our presence.

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundanyly.

Titus 3:5-6 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; whom He poured out on us abundantly throuh Jesus Christ our Lord.

May Jesus be glorified through the live of Luke and may we learn more of the Lord's great love for each one of us.

May the Lord bless your and thank you so much for your prayers. Lots and lots of love. Auntie Cindy

Hey, Lukers! I have to go now, but I'll be praying for you all day. I'm going to pray and believe that your surgery will be flawless, as if done by God's own hands. I love you, and I'll see you tonight.

Love,
Naomi

Have been and will continue to pray all day...... Father, please hold Gordy and Sue as they again trust You with little Luke. You are the only One worthy of this trust, for you are our Daddy and the Great Physician. Your love for Luke and the whole Searle family is like no other love. Guide and direct every step during the surgery. May this surgery be used in a mighty way to help this sweet little bab heal. Help little Luke to swallow and cough in a productive way. We are trusting You for a miracle Father. Amen Psalm 77:13 Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God?? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples......Thank you Yahweh CF in Arizona

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the Name of Jesus, and thank you for the precious life of little Luke. We know by your saving actions of his life that you have a plan for His little life. We know that you will hold him in your protective arms as he goes through surgery, and thank you for his swift recover. We ask that you continue to heal and repair any damage to little Lukes Body, and mind in the days to come, that he may be a witness to others as the miracle unfolds.
Thanks You For being our healer,
In Jesus Mighty Name,
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!

Gordy, You are doing great man. As you said this is a marathon, sometimes you have to slow your pace to keep with the race. Unlike the marathon where every one is in it for them self, this one is a group race where we all get to help each other finish the race. I am here for you, as well as all those around the world. Don't be afraid or ashamed to call on us to lift you up (as if we weren't doing it all ready) if you need prayer, ask. I know that you care so much for others as God has shown us, just remember you are an "other" to us and I care about you. I won't stop praying for Luke and the specific things you ask, and as I pray for you I would like to know if there are specific requests. I try to let God show me how, and what to pray for, but sometimes I need it in black and white. I love you man! ~ Bob Hart
