More seizures

Luke had a few more seizures this evening. They have increased the anti seizure medication in hopes of stopping the seizures. Some good news, they were able to take Luke off of the BP medicine. Also, Luke is coughing much better, so hopefully he may be able to get off of the ventilator soon. They putting a tube into Luke's tummy to be able to feed him, so hopefully this will provide him the nutrients he needs to get stronger.

I am amazed at this blog! It is different then a prayer chain, in that you dont have to wait for the news to travel from one person to the next, it is more of a giant prayer circle and all are welcome to participate. It has the power of being able to keep all the frontline prayer warriors informed. I believe that this technology has incredible potential of impacting the way we share our lives with one another. If you have never blogged before, like me before this accident, I would encourage you to visit www.blogger.com it is as easy as 1-2-3 to setup a blog and just a matter of inviting others to participate. Do you know someone that is hurting and needs some encouragement, then blog. There is great healing in blogging, I for one will never be the same again.

You are the sweetest Daddy and man of God. I am so humbled how you are taking your eyes off of yourself and your enormous grief to focus on others. I am praying for a complete recovery for your beautiful gift from the Lord, Luke. He is so special, as is your family. I love all of you and will continue to pray.

Luke, your impact on those that follow this blog may never be known. You are changing lives, and the Lord's presence is all around you. May He bless you and your family.

This family's prayer is for healing. In the name of Jesus we are praying for your complete and total recovery. May His will be done.

Sleep well my son.

Just read that last comment and a big AMEN- it is just like you Gordy and Sue to be going thru such a trial and still be so burdened for those other lives you are coming into contact with in the unit. Such an awesom testimony of what the Gospel message is full of as in Phil.2:4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests but also for the interests of others.
Praise the Lord for Luke's coughing and being off the BP meds! Thank you Jesus. We continue to look forward to the Lord's touch that will release him from the seizure activity!
When you pass through the waters I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, Nor shall the falme scorch you. FOR I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD! Isaiah 43:2,3 Lord please give them a very blessed night sleep! Love, Mary in San Antonio

Thanks for stopping by. Blogging has allowed me to 'meet' many fine people around the world. A tool is only good if you use it. A blog IS a good tool for connecting people in a prayer circle(?). You may use a blog for many useful things. It just takes an idea and determination.

Little Luke would be amazed at how far his story has spread. Right now he probably wants that tummy tube. What kid doesn't like a good feed. Look at that birthday pic!

Goodnight Luke!

Gordy, You and your family are an inspiration to many. God is using you as a vessel, and he will bless you and your family for your faith."Rejoice in the Lord always.I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Phil. 4:4-9
Little Luke is loved by God, created in his image. God has a perfect plan for Lukes life. I pray Luke will grow up to share his testimony, living a life with no ill effects from this, but sharing his faith and his miracle to bring others into the Kingdom. May God restore each vein, cell, tissue, muscle, nerve, mind, body and soul to perfect condition. May he give you and your family much rest and refreshment to go through this journey. Your brothers and sisters are on their knees for each of you.

"....my voice shalt thou hear in the morning. O Lord in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up...."

We are all looking up to our Father in Heaven for his guidance, grace and mercy. Praise His name for all He is doing in and thru this family. The unselfish love which is being shared is exactly what John tells us..."Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God: and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God"...

Thank you Jesus for Luke and his family. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your healing hand. Thank you for your comfort. Lord God, thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. Thank you that Luke is continuing to cough, that he no longer has to be treated w/bp med, that he will be able to receive nourishment for his body and that your hand is guiding his doctors and caregivers. We praise You...!!!You are so awesome and mighty.

My prayers continue....

We are praying and believing for a miracle and I know Baby Luke is a very blessed little boy to have a believing family surrounding him with prayer and love. Your testimony through this BLOG is amazing. WE are asking all our Mops (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups near and far to pray for Luke and your family. We thank our Lord Jesus for that opportunity and your family. Mauri Price in Centralia, WA.
